Nokia 3390 back cover won't open!

Someone wanna help me with this? The manual says i should push the button in the back and slide the back cover upwards, but it won't slide, no matter what, and i've tried everything. So is it stuck or what? Anything i can do to open it?

It's hard to open, especially if it's never been opened before. Just push REALLY hard and push up. It'll go. (Or bring it to a local service sotre?)

This thing was designed by an idiot. Nevertheless, it was free so i'm not complaining. Time for round 3

What I did was placed the phone face down on my legs. Use secondary hand to hold top of phone. Use primary palm against the button and push down and forward. Should do the trick. Don't worry about breaking anything. The only thing you could possibly break is maybe your finger. (Don't forget some common sense as well.) And I'm releasing myself from responsibility if you explode.

if it's aftermarket cover.. you'll probably have hard time opening it.. (you have to think that you'll break the damm thing.. and give it all you got.. and it'll let it go

if it's original nokia .. it should come off easy.. if not, then probably something is not lined right..
