IMHO this phone sucks... I've had it for 4 months and I am on my third one.. just can get it to work right...
also you should read the post about the ATT plan... not sure if you can get on it as as newbie... but I've got 500min no roaming + unlimited nights and weekends... for 40 a month

I would go with the Panasonic, heard nothing but good things about it
 
So there are TWO $50 rebates? I'm a little confused . I only saw the one on the Amazon link. Does anyone have any Deal info on the fre 2 go plan?
 
buy.com deal isn't quite as good as the old amazon deal - buy.com only offers a 1 year contract. You have to get a two-year contract in order to get 50% extra anytime minutes and waived $35 activation fee.

This isn't like the 5165 deal. 5165's rebate doesn't require you to be on a plan, it just had to be activated (free) and charge using pre-paid cards. In the kit they sent you, they've included $20 card, and a coupon for another $20 card. so that's really "free" 😀

But this is cool too if you need a phone, and also want to use it more than occasionally.
 
Not to be a complete PITA but does anyone know who's service is better in the Chicago area - Cingular or ATT?
 
At MySImon.com they pass you thru to GetConnected and there is another $50 rebate thru GetConnected. The phone costs $25 but you get an additional $50 rebate to total up to $75 in your pocket after rebates...woo-hoo!
 
had my 3360 stolen today (Cingular)

any deals where I can get it to re-activate?
the deals online are mostly for NEW activations

call cingular and ask if they have a lost and stolen phone program, or something similiar. see how much it they could sell you a new phone for if you sign up for a new service, etc...voicestream does that stuff so i assume cingular does to..good luck
