The roller is probably worn out, aluminum or nylon?

The bearing or whatever it is on the slide track is very noisy. I tried wd40 and that worked for a while, but it's back to being noisy. Does anyone have some better lubrication ideas? Thanks![]()

Repeat after me: WD40 is not a lubricant, it is a solvent.
Try SuperLube or some other silicon based lubricant.

Silicon will work for awhile but eventually the rollers will need to be replaced. Depending on how the door is installed this can be an epic undertaking. Our door was installed and then tile was installed around the track. To fix the door we would have had to remove the tile. We opted to remove the sliding door and replace it with french doors since the labor involved wasn't much more.
