Noisy fan on 6800 Ultra

I bought a PNY 6800 Ultra back in September and loved it, however it went bad a couple months ago and I was recently sent a refurbished replacement. When I installed it yesterday I noticed that the fan seemed really noisy. Is there something I can do to fix the noise, or would an aftermarket heatsink/fan fix the problem?

Any ideas?

An aftermarket fan would fix the problem but would void any warranty you have on the card. If you are willing to do that then Arctic Cooler, Zalman, and a few others make great aftermarket vga coolers. I personally use a Arctic Cooler NV Silencer 5 on my 6800GT and it works wonders.

In my experience, the Zalman is better then the arctic cooling silencer. I ve had both, and the Zalman is much quieter. My idle temps are 49 C and load 56-59 C.
