Noisy Dvd Burner

I just got a new LG Dvd Burner and it makes a rattle when in operation. Does this mean that
it might have a short life? It does work.

does it rattle while burning or when its closing the door. i've had plenty of burners where the door mechanism was louder than i would like, but it shouldnt' rattle while burning or reading.

It rattles while burning or reading. I am just going to RMA it. Though it tacks on a additional
8 bucks on the price to send it back. Bummer.

thats too bad, neweggs got new burners for 20 bucks... when they have free shipping i just buy extras sometimes lol

but yea that has to go back.
