Noises coming from tires

For the past month or so I started to notice a sound coming from my suspension. At first I thought it was my rotors but then I took my car in for an oil change and asked the dealer to test drive the car. Turns out my tires are uneven once again! This occurred a year ago so I replaced two of the tires that were bad. I had an alignment and hoped that that would fix it. Well, it's happening again!

This one shop told me my front strut was going bad. THinking they lied to me I took it to my dealer but didn't tell them about my struts. They said they found nothing bad. So now it's back to square one. I can't replace my tires every damn year. What could be the issue? The note I got from the dealer is "front tires feathered, rear tires bald on the corner."

Something is definitely wrong with your alignment. Take it to a shop that specializes in suspension, not just a tire shop or a generic mechanic who can do an alignment. Generic shops often miss small issues with suspensions and this sounds like something that a specialist should look at.

Typically, uneven tire wear on the outside of the tread indicates under inflation.

By the way, what brand of car?
