noise levels of sonata, 3700bqe, 3000b

i am planning a new build soon (a64 ~3000, mid/high video card) and was wondering about cases.

my current case is a sx1030 sort like this and i used the stock power supply.

i am looking at buying a sonata, 3700bqe, or 3000b/seasonic.

my question: how does the noise compare with the sonata and the sx1030? loads better? or just marginally?

i'm not gonna put much effort into silencing other components other than case/psu, so is it still worth it to get a quiet case?.

thanks!

All depends on which fan you're using. I like the SLK3000B because it will accept a 120 mm x 35 mm case fan at the front and back of the case.

If you switch out all your 80mm fans in a 1030 to low speed Panaflo or Maglev units, it can be pretty quiet but you won't get the cooling you can get with the two 120mm fans of the 3x00 series.
