I use it, and I'm very satisfied with it.... :)

Just remember to take off the silverplate, clean off the thermal compound and put on a gob of AS2 instead. That gave me approx 5-7 degrees...

I'd say it's a little expensive. $90, I think. :)

DanishGuy, what exactly was a 'glob'? Too much thermal compound - yes, even Arctic Silver II - will act as an insulator. Did you scrape off the excess with a flat, clean edge of some sort (new razor, clean credit card)? If not, you might not be getting temps as low as you want.

Where can you buy the Silverado? I've only seen it on the manufacturer's website.

Hehe, a 'glob' was just a fun word I came up with...

I removed the excess Arctic Silver 2 with a 20 cm Linex ruler cleaned with Ethanol ;)

Also the pressure from the 3 screws holding the silver plate to the heatsink press out any extra thermal compound.

There's just one thing I don't like so much about this HSF, and it's the fact that there's 2 fans. They some times make vibrations if their speed is not 100% syncronized. And that can't actually be controlled... :(

IMHO it's a very great heatsink all in all.

There's a great review here.

I bought mine here in Denmark from www.webconsult.dk but they don't sell anywhere outside Denmark and Sweden.

Hope that answers your questions for now, if not: Fell free to reply. :)

They only sell to Denmark and Sweden? Damn, I guess that doesn't include Canada. :(

Muerto, you can buy it from their website for $67 and pay $22 shipping to anywhere.

Too rich for my blood, but if you want it, they'll ship it to Canada for you.
