noise cancelling headphones for gym?

looking for cheap noise cancelling headphones to use in the gym. I currently use apple headphones but I hate that I have to crank up my iPod to block out the gym's stereo. What should I get?

They block out a lot of ambient noise. Finally got half-decent ones after breaking 4 pairs of Creative earbuds over a period of a couple years

The MC5's go pretty deep in your ear or you can get custom fit ear molds.
