hi, i was feeling fine until about 10mins ago when i saw a moth buzzing round my flat. it shouldnt bother me, but because of my OCD it did, and im not happy, cos i killed the blighter.

quick question, why do moths and other nocturnal insects come at night, and are attracted to light. its pissed me off. the damn things could spend all day in the sun, floating about. but no, as soon as it gets dark, blam they're flying near my 25W lamp

wtf

lol... People don't know this? :p

They're attracted to light because they use the moon to guide them.

Our electrically powered lights throw them off.

stupid light-attracted insects kill me... I can't open the windows in my kitchen or bedroom anymore because insects swarm all over the screens when I turn on the light :(

Just think...... Mosquitos need no light to be attracted to. They are the true Vampires of the night!

Probably the only insect I really hate!!!!

Black Flies?

You probably mean No-see-ums These are very very small bugs that bite like a mosquito.

If not, they're probably a type of horsefly. They can range in size from about -1/4 to 1"+ in size.

I've always loved bugs. Especially Spiders!
