I am building a new rig and was wondering which would be a better choice.

My case is the Corsair Carbide 500R (white) and CPU is i5-3750k which I am hoping to OC to 4.5-4.7 Ghz.

The only reason that the H100 is in the running is that I prefer the tidy look it provides, however, I must admit I am not too thrilled about the possible outcome if it does malfunction (leakage and/or dead pump).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated--thanks in advance.

Really tough for any air HSF to top an H100/H100i at full tilt...

I just bought an H100, my assumption (correct or not) is that the giant radiator will let me run a pair of fans almost silently without any concern whatsoever for overheating. It was liquid + dual fan which = winner for me. The others were fine too - I considered a 212 Evo (likely the best buy of the group) which i think is comparable to the Noctua, and an H80, and ultimately settled on the H100. I hope to have it forever. Or at least a couple years which is sorta like forever in PC speak.
