I've been reading up on the new Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler, and it looks very impressive. This review, which compared it to the excellent Prolimitech Megahalems, was particularly convincing. I'd love for this to be the cooler for my new rig, but I'm having trouble finding the NH-D14 here in the States. It's out of stock at the only three places I can find that have it listed (FrozenCPU, Performance PCs and SVC). Does anyone have a lead on another place that will ship it to a US address, or perhaps an ETA on its return to one of the three retailers listed above?

Looks like none of them have it, but that list was just what I was after. I'll keep clicking through the links; it's bound to show up sooner rather than later. Thanks zagood.

I just called these guys and talked to Bryan, who was awesome btw. They are getting their shipment on Tuesday and he said I'd have mine next Thurs/Fri.

Thank you very much for the update! Without a doubt, this beast is going into my new system. Yet another glowing review came in today. That combination of cool and quiet can't be beat.

Geez almost $100 for a heatsink...

I hear you, but in defense of the NH-D14, it does come with the necessary fans (unlike the Megahalems, for which you need to buy fans separately). Of course the performance is second to none. I'm sure the price will settle a bit once availability increases, probably into the $70-$75 range. I'm willing to fork over an extra ten-spot to get my hands on it now, though. ;)

UPDATE: As of Monday morning, Sidewinder Computers has the NH-D14 in stock for $84. After shipping, my total order cost came to $93. If you're interested in the NH-D14, go ahead and take the plunge. I've ordered from Sidewinder before and have had very good luck with them. Now I'll just have to hope my luck extends to the NH-D14. From all accounts, this thing is massive and I hope it works with my mobo (yet to be picked out) and case (CM ATCS 840).
