Noctua low profile and skylake

Hey all
Im building a new rig and was curious about the Noctua NH-L9I
https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-Low-Profile-Cooler-Retail-Cooling/dp/B009VCAJ7W

I wanted to replace the stock intel fan that comes with an i5 6500 (will not be overclocking in any way) on an Asus VIII Gene. I've also been hearing gruff about Skylake chips bending with some coolers. I know the NHL9I is several years old but people say it works with Skylake. So Im a little worried about the bendy thing.

Anyway back to my main question, will that Noctua be a decent upgrade over the stock intel cooler?
Thanks

I suppose. If you're not overclocking, you might be surprised to know that with the stock cooler, skylake chips tend to run pretty darn cool. I can barely push 60C here under full load in a hot room.
