So I saw it last night. It was good. Seemed very LOTResque.

I can't say I cried but I almost broke out in laughter at the clown car like magical ability of the ark to fit millions of creatures when it didn't look big enough to fit a fraction of them. Forgive me creator! *Opens up chest as a deluge of photons spew forth*

In this day of CGI you'd think they'd make the ark believably big enough to house all those creatures. But it doesn't look like they were going for believability. Then again I think the same about the bible so I find it funny how the religious folks got mad at this film for not being biblically accurate enough.

I saw it because you guys said it was good. I thought it was boring. Maybe because I'm not christian?

It's in the bible. And by that I mean that the ark really is supposed to be small.

Just finished watching it. I LOLed at the stone robots, totally not in the Bible, in fact most of the story was not really accurate, but despite that it was actually still fairly good entertainment. I guess the general idea was there but they just added their own interpretation of things.

Seen it in the theater. Was alright, doesn't follow the real story though in the Bible. The fallen angels were a little weird.

The real story? Of course you mean the fairy tale, the one that there isn't a single shred of proof that it ever happened?

That because Noah (nor his god apparently) knew about elephants, giraffes, platypi, polar bears, bison, etc. The ark was probably plenty big to house all the animals known to Noah.

watched it last night and enjoyed it. i don't care if it wasn't 1 to 1 with the bible story. if i wanted the bible story i would read the bible. but i enjoyed the movie quite a bit.

i was kind of thrown off at the beginning how russel crowe plays his dad as well when noah was a child. i was kinda like WTF? he's not credited for it either.
