I have been the proud owner of a NAD 3020 for several years now and it has served me faithfully even being over 30 years old(Yes, I intentionally bought a 30 year old amp.)

I knew what I was getting into buying such an old piece of equipment and feared this day would come, and come it has
The audio on the right channel gets scratchy and starts cutting in and out.
I'm looking at a few sites now that should help me out, but if anybody knows of any advice it would be much apprecaited.

I do not want to give this amp up, the sounds it produces are so beautiful.

It's solid state.
From what I can gather, it seems to be the power supply, because it's always been scratchy when I turn it on(it rarely gets turned off) and after playing The Planets by Holst at a fairly high volume the current scratching is gone. Nothing but warm, sweet music.

Copper tape might insulate the leak. Stumac could be a place to go for help.
