So I turned the main water off today to the house to fix a leaky faucet and when I turned the water back on, one of my taps isn’t working now in a bathroom. Everything else is working except the one sink?? We turn the taps on and NOTHING comes out, it’s like the water is still off. This sink wasn’t touched while the water was off. Neither hot nor cold. Help please!

Great username for an old guy, if you ask me, although I would probably be too proud to admit it myself.

Anyway, reduced flow would mean lodged debris that was shaken loose by the disurbance, but I have never seen enough to stop flow completely. I have no idea.

Crap in the valve or the screen. Clean the screen first, if that doesn't work it's at the fixture valve or the angle stop under the sink.
If your getting that much crap broken loose just from turning the water off, you might have bigger problems on the horizon. If your plumbing steel, copper, pex, or some other material?
