No Vysnc in Vista???

I just found out that in vista, that if you have an older game like BF2 or BF2142 and their's no in game option for vysnc, that even though you enable it in the video card control panel it still will not work :-( That is really really lame. Vista is supposed to be the lastest and greatest OS, yet it can't even do vysnc which Xp can do regardless of in game options. Man Vista what a great OS.......Not....I can see why the world is still about 95% Xp

Your logic is impeccable. No vsync = bad OS. We all know that Microsoft writes all lines of code that control vsync, it's not up to the drivers one bit to provide that support :disgust:

Why would you want to limit your FPS?

Because I can't stand screen tearing when vsync is off..
