No voltage control for 6950 with NVidia card present?

I was using MSI afterburner with my 6950 and overclock, but when I added an old 7800gt (for extra monitors) I can no longer adjust the voltage of the 6950.

I have the proper settings enabled in the config file and checked in the settings of the program as well, but still no luck. I'm using Cat 11.3 with the 6950, and MSI afterburner worked fine previously with these drivers.

One weird thing is that with the NVidia card installed, the driver version of the ATi card is no longer displayed. So maybe MSI AB is having trouble talking to the ATi drivers with the NVidia drivers in the system? I have tried the latest beta and the latest stable release of afterburner.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure the correct card is selected when trying to control voltage? I have a 6950 with a 8800GT installed and my voltage control works fine in AB.

You go under settings and select your gpu there under
Master Graphics processor Selection

What Catalyst version are you using? I think the problem is somewhere with the drivers since MSI AB is not displaying the driver version of my card properly.

I tried reinstall cats 11.3, I'll try going back to 11.2

Reverting to 11.2 got it working, however with 11.2 the powertune options disappeared with the NVidia card present. I was able to get it all working with 11.3, booting my computer with no displays hooked into my NVidia card, setting up my 6950, then connecting displays to my Nvidia card.

Multiple vender fail.

And throw a monkey wrench into this, are you using any nVidia drivers or just the Windows Display driver?

If you are using nVidia drivers see the PhysX/SLI/Batman:AA fiasco.

If you are using a generic Windows driver, try installing an nVidia driver.

Could be that CCC or NForce is throwing gang signs at each other and someone is taking their ball and going home.
