Hey everyone. I left my computer rendering 2 videos from my 3d animation program while I was at work. When I returned 7 hours later, my computer was frozen (I didn't think to check the time it had frozen, but it had been a few hours). Ever since then, the computer will turn on, but I get nothing on the screen and instead of the normal startup beep, the beep is shorter. I have tried unplugging everything, clearing the bios by removing the battery, switching to different video cards (agp and pci), and changing the memory. Any suggestions?

Thanks

The setup:
Athlon XP 2800
Gigabyte GA 7N400 Pro
2x512mb PC2700 Samsung
XFX Geforce 6800 GT 256mb agp Dual DVI (this was new)

Might try looking up the beep code and see what its trying to tell you.

I'd test with another PSU too.

Could've overheated? Sometimes the CMOS can be difficult to clear. Try again following procedure in the manual. Including allowing extra time, like leaving the battery out overnight.
