No video signal HELP!!!

Putting together a new system with old hard drive with windows already installed.

Video card works in other system but video card from other system also doesn't work in this one, so issue is not video card. But maybe the mother board? Or something I've connected wrong?

Computer starts up, but video signal never changes from orange light.

What's inside:
new Asus P4S533-E motherboard
NVIDIA g-force4 mx440SE 64MB AGP
512 MB DDR 333 RAM
Intel P4 1.8 Mhz
It's an ATX case, and both power sources are plugged in.

Are there maybe jumpers I don't know about?

The previous system that the hard drive was in had an onboard video card... I don't know if this has anything to do with it...

Please help! Thanks!
Daniel

no vid AT ALL? or only no vid in windows? you get no boot screens, nothing? does the computer your PUTTING it into have onboard video? allthough i'm assuming "no". Only thing i can think of, what type of AGP does the board support, the card you have might not be compatible... a friend of mine bought a AGP4 card when the board didnt use that and the card wouldnt work... thats all ive got, hope i got you started... try another card to see if the slot is working on the board your using

nope...no video signal at all.
I hear fans and an innitial hard drive something, but then it's just steady...not like it's actually booting up. The monitor stays blank and the light stays blinking orange.

This may be a really stupid question (never can tell for sure what you've tried), but have you tried using your windows dick to boot and safe mode and download the latest nvidia drivers? Just a thought--hope it helps.
