Question No video signal from new video card help trouble shooting

I finally got around to installing the RX 590 I had bought a while go. I pulled the 2 7970's which I have had since 2014. I plugged the 2 power connectors and rebooted. I got no signal. The lights on the card were on and the fans were spinning but nothing, I tried both display ports and the HDMI output and still nothing. I pulled the RX 590 and reinstalled one of the 7970's and everything worked okay. No idea if the card is the problem. I have this MB. The specs say it supports an RX 580 so I assume the same goes for an RX 590. Best approach from here?

Disable onboard video in BIOS (if it has such)? Sometimes it wants to take over if the slot previously occupied is then vacated.

Can you see the BIOS display upon boot even?

What happens if you place one 7970 back in? Edit: Missed that you had done this already, whoops.

BIOS update? Try legacy VGA bios instead of UEFI.
I am using CHVFZ with windows 11, what version windows are you using?

On my machine, HDMI shows post ect immediately, while using DP it takes forever to boot up. This is GTX780. I have fullscreen logo disabled and as must post info displayed on screen as possible.
My DP is 1.4 (?) and HDMI is 1.4b (? I can recall but they are the older standards)

I used Rufus to create a bootable win11 iso image with the tpm2.0 disabled, along with sign into MS account among others.

Used same process to recover my son's win7 corrupted install on a Lynnfield cpu EVGA P55-SLI mobo, Had to use a HDD esata dock to use win11 to make the extra HDD recognizable. (came out of a DVR) but it boots and runs, sees his one 2tb disk, other disk was listed as bad by SMART, disabled that on that drive. but win11 doesn't see it.

I believe he since discovered the card was bad, and returned it to the Newegg seller, and ordered a different card. It was in another thread.
