No video signal?? All of a sudden.. More details inside

All of a sudden when i power on my pc i get NO VIDEO SIGNAL message on monitor or monitor doesn't turn on at all. If i reset or flip the switch in the back of the power supply on and off, it usual makes the signal come back?

The ONLY thing I can think of, is i just added a sb audigy sound card, but im not sure if it happened before that.


Could it be a p/s going bad or something else??

Can you see any light on the monitor atall????
If you can and no screen appears then it is a problem with your PC.
This could be many things:

Check the Graphics card and take it out, try different PCI or AGP slot.

I would then remove the HD, CDROM, Floppy and turn it on. If nothing then
remove memory and reinsert. Try some different if possible.

Ya the yellow light is in standby. I will try removing all of them

Can you try the monitor on a different computer to see if it work? If so then the next step is to single out components one by one.
