No video playback on brand-new V3m

i finally got myself a nice phone for once in my life (hey, it was free), but now i can't get recorded video to play back. The sound plays back through the duration, and the timer goes, but the screen stays on the first frame of the video. I did some digging on phonescoop and found no record of this happening...anyone have any suggestions?

I wouldn't mess with it to much, could void the warranty. Take it back and get a new one if thats an option.

i will if it comes down to it, but i would really rather not go through that if there is a fix. i still havn't found any other reports though...

edit: i diabled EVDO and it seems to be working now...not that those two should have any coorelation...i thought mabye i had to take the full 15 seconds of video, which worked twice in a row, but then a 3 second video worked, so i dunno now...
