No Video On Bootup?

I just put together a new pc and can't seem to get video. I had the same problem before but was eventually able to get some video after pulling the video card and reseating the ram. I have no idea what it was that fixed it last time but this time I cannot get any video to come up on my monitor. All the fans spin and it sounds like it is booting up just no video. I'm wondering if it is a bad video card or perhaps a bad pciexpress slot in my motherboard. Any advise is appreciated. -Rob

i would start out by using the onboard video first if you have it.

then after everything's up and running, switch to your PCI-E card.. I wouldn't even install the card until then.

I didnt have onboard video. I did just try clearing the bios and now it seems to be working. Not sure what could have happened but I'm booting windows now so all seems well. Hopefully I have no further problems. -Rob

I had this problem and I fixed it by moving the Video Card to my otehr PCI-E slot if you have SLI I would do that.

BTW: No one really has On-Board video anymore.
