No video cards will work on motherboard

My cousin took out his CDRW to take out something his kid put in there that jammed it. He took it apart, then put it back together and reconnected it. From then on his AGP video card stopped working. It was working perfectly before then. He replaced it with a PCI video card from another computer with the same problem. Then he bought an AGP video card and he still could not get any video. The computer seems to be booting up just fine, without any VGA reception. He thought it was his monitor and tested it on another computer. The monitor worked fine.

Both of us are stumped. Anybody have any solutions?

Now the keyboard light does not come on when he boots it up.

I am guessing that he zapped the motherboard.

Yeah, sure sounds like it. :(

I assume you've tried resetting the CMOS, trying to boot the machine up with nothing connected but the video card/hard disk, etc.
