no video at all

I just finished building a system everything works fine but the video....the card is by pine technologies it is the 3d phantom xp-2800 card. It shows nothing at all on the display and the beeps at start up are suggesting video issues as well. The card is supposedly a working card. Other than being a bad card any ideas of other issues I am not thinking about???????

That card may not be compatible with your motherboard, it's AGP 2X and may not work in anything but a 3.3V-only AGP slot.

I am pretty sure the motherboard supports it. Any other suggestions?

What is the beep code it is giving you. How many long and short beeps? What is the motherboard?

it is 1 long 3 short beeps it is an ecs mb.....I have been digging and I think mechbgon is right I think it is a 1x mb and a 2x card.....it is a P6BAT-A+ mb can anyone verify if this is indeed 1x......their site sucks for older boards like this...
