however i cant seem tob oot with video. i have tried 3 different cards a old tnt something(agp), a geforce 2(pci), and a geforce 5200(pci). none of them obtain video.

i checked the psu it is good.

i honestly have no idea what could be wrong. hopefully its not burned.

Have you got onboard video on your mobo?

If you have, this should probably be disabled before you install a seperate vga card.

If you haven't got an onboard vga on mobo, are you sure the monitor works?

The more information you can give, the more likely you'll get useful advice

Also, providing links to vendors product information is usually not the best way to provide said information

Having looked at the deal you purchased, the 1st question I have is;
Did it ship with a CPU Heatsink and Fan - if not then you will probably have fried your CPU already

The offer, doesn't appear to specify what brand or model of motherboard is included (the description VIA KT266A is too generic) - it would be helpful if you could let us know what you received.

I think you may also have got your terminology confused - the TNT card was likely to have been pci, while the GF2 and the GF5200 will have been agp.

I think you may find it worthwile to visit mechBgon's excellent help pages

I believe that board is the PCCHIPS M811LU board that Fry's/Outpost likes to bundle with Durons. From your post, it seems that you're implying that you can boot the computer without a video card... but I'm not sure if that's accurate. It's probably a DOA CPU, because I got that same combo from Fry's and my CPU was dead... exchanged the CPU and voila, it booted.
