Just a few more bands of snow coming across... should be completely done here by noon or 1.
The kids this morning were whining that they should get to go home because the roads were so bad...
My comment "the roads will be much safer to go home on at 3 o'clock" appears to be coming true.

it's 76 degrees and sunny here... my AC just kicked on :)

Florida - where all the old folks from upstate New York come to live when they
finally realize they don't really like all that white stuff.

I DO love the snow...... but my wife and I just traded in our old popup camper for a bigger one and now we are itching for spring camping weather! ;)

If there is no unnecessary travel, then you can't travel from work to home.
that's the thing. they are closing schools and stuff and sending them all home right in the peak of the storm.

and me, i LOVE driving in it. if only all the other fools would get off the road.

What kind of car?
just a front wheel drive, but i'm used to the snow. it's an adventure.

Wow, that's a wealth of information you've provided there...that narrows it down to what? Half the cars on the planet?:laugh:

Hey mosh!

We are getting heavy stuff here in the Southern Tier now (BIG flakes!) Only predicting 2-4 inches, but it may be heavy for a while ;)

I can drive an hour or so and be in the snow. I haven't done that in probably 6-7 years though...Hehehe. Shows you how much I miss it.

I like the snow, but I'm not minding that this CNY winter has been very mild.
Though I feel like I'm not getting full use out of my subaru with new snow tires.

Better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them though! :)

And in Peabody, Ma it's currently 49 and cloudy.
I'm glad I'm not working in western NY this week. I would rather not get stuck in a hotel room in Watertown or wherever. :/

I live in Cattaraugus County, I've didn't hear anythign about the weather. What county are you in? I have a basketball game tonight in Chataqua Lake, that'd be sweet if it were cancelled, don't feel like playing tonight. :/ Not to mention our team sucks. (0-16)
