What TV, and why didn't you buy it in-store?

I purchased the Panasonic PT-56LCZ70 and I couldn't buy it in-store because it wasn't available anywhere nearby.

Yeah, I have all that stuff, but I'm just not used to having no "traditional" TV to watch for a while. I suppose I can catch up on my reading.

Dude, I don't have TV! At all. I have a 30 year old TV monitor, and I get along fine. I use the internets and books--and thinking. :Q

Good value for a 56" RPTV.

That one goes on sale every so often for $996. I wish it was available in store so I could use the 10% discount coupon, but I guess BestBuy is hip to that. FYI: This RPTV is not a typical RPTV LCD, it's a LIFI, and the bulb is waranteed for 5yrs. Plus I used my AXEX so I got another 1yr on that- So 2yr/6yr for $1100 delivered- Not bad.

After just selling a borked 19mos old 56" Samsung DLP RPTV to a friend for $350 I payed $1900 for, I'll never go back to DLP again (and never another Samsung product)

I just started that series yesterday, based on all these rave reviews that I've gotten from various people...

You don't need TV when you have a computer and the Internet... you can pretty much watch any show you want online...

The only thing you would be missing is live sporting events...

Here here

I'd rather watch The Unit on my 50" HDTV from the comfort of my recliner.

Well. Second day on no TV. To top that no work today because of the big snowstorm here so I was doubly bored. Sigh.

Yeah, I went around trying to find a cheapie TV to buy last night and nobody sells them anymore- the cheapest I could find was a 13" CRT at Walmart with a ATSC/QAM tuner for ~$95. No point in buying a TV without a digital tuner anymore. I really didn't want to spend that much so I just ordered a ATSC/QAM HD Tuner card so at least if my HDTV ever breaks I'll be able to watch on my 24" PC monitor. Was worth $50 I guess.

TV sux.

I usually cancel cable during the summer it's so worthless.

And the worst is that i pay all winter just to watch hockey, which isn't worth what the basic bundles cost...
