no tv, dvd video on second monitor

I have dual monitors connected to a radeon 8500. I just updgraded to the latest radeon driver, hydravision and control panel. I manually uninstalled the previous adapter driver (and hydravsion, control panel) and used driver cleaner 2.0.

When i try dragging either a dvd (windows media player 9) or my tv tuner onto the secondary display the video goes away. With the previous driver I was able to do this without a problem.

Does anyone know of a setting somewhere in either hydravision or radeon properties that I need to change? Or has anyone else had a similar problem with the latest drivers?
