*Sigh* No, it's possibly the best novel/film pair in history. Read the book AND see the movie.

What's fvcked is I think I first saw that movie (on cable) when I was like 7 years old. No wonder I'm so messed up now

I love that movie. I saw it one time, and it was perfect.

Suddenly, I viddied what I had to do, and what I had wanted to do, and that was to do myself in; to snuff it, to blast off for ever out of this wicked, cruel world. One moment of pain perhaps and, then, sleep for ever, and ever and ever.

So I waited and, O my brothers, I got a lot better munching away at eggiwegs, and lomticks of toast and lovely steakiwegs and then, one day, they said I was going to have a very special visitor.

I have a huge eye phobia (possibly had since I overcame it for my contacts). The scene with his eyes pulled open made me so scared.

Way back in college a few guys and I got stoned and watched it. The one who made us watch it was the only one who was still awake after 20 minutes. It gets so much praise I should give it another shot now that I'm no longer an idiot (like all ~18 year olds), but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I watched it, and while enjoying it I failed to see the depth and greatness others talk about in regards to the movie.
