No tasks for Correlizer?

Anyone not getting any tasks for correlizer? My crunchers seem to be having trouble getting work. Not a big deal, as they just switch the idle cores to other BOINC projects, but just curious. TIA.

Just saw this at the message board...

there are plans for a challenge at boincstats.

"Just wondering if any new work is coming up soon. BOINCstats team is hoping to run a Correlizer team challenge from March 20 to March 27.
Thanks,
Dan"

Anyway...correlizer still shows only 1 WU available all the time.

If they can get units up and running, and a race won't break the project like the one earlier did, I'd be interested in putting all of my cores on it.
Since this project likes AMD, I'm curious how my fx8120 will do compared to my 1055t's.

Judging by what RT had for his AMD boxes, you'll do very well. Last I checked one of his boxes (Phenom II X4 940) had well over 2K in RAC.

So I'd imagine the FX8120 would get near 3K easily.

I just started up Correlizer this weekend. At first I didn't get any work, but I set my buffer to 1 day and soon I got some. It might help that I'm on Linux 64-bit, though.

I can't use Correlizer during the week - it takes too much memory - so I'm running down my buffer now and someone should now be able to get the work I would otherwise have taken.

It seems (according to the Number Crunching forum) that the admins were not responding to inquires about no work. Makes me a little nervous about the project's longevity .

Agreed - I also saw a lot of messages in the board that were not responded too.

That's too bad...but there are plenty of other projects hungry for crunchers!

WCG is always looking for additional rigs. Closing in on the top 100 spot by months end!

Looks like there are plenty of WUs. I just did a quick test on a laptop and got around 60 WUs with one try.

I did not see any requests for assistance in the boards.

Have you changed your settings?

I agree, it has gone dry several times but I am talking about today.
Wondering if someone else is also unable to get WUs. It seems like VL is not, or was not, able to get WUs today.

I just got home, and I see, I have correlizer WUs now! Not many, but there are a few.

Edit: I posted the above yesterday. I got up this morning, and now I have a whole bunch of correlizer WUs finally. I guess when it rains, it pours.
