No taskbar, HDTV as monitor

I have an HDTV hooked up to the pc right now to play a game, and everything's fine but there ISN'T a taskbar. It's not that it's off the screen, it isn't accesible at all. The mouse stops at the bottom of the screen.

Thing is this setup worked last time, probably a year ago, with the OLD Nvidia drivers. Now, with the NV control panel, I don't have a taskbar.

Any ideas?

Yeah, and I can run programs, but I have to create a shortcut to the .exe on the desktop. It's retarded.
 
Is your HDTV set as the primary display? What's probably happening is that you are in extended desktop mode, which extends your desktop to a second monitor without extending the task bar. Check your video settings to make sure that your TV isn't set as the secondary display and make sure extended desktop is off.
 
HAHAA I feel stupid. Apparently my pc assumed that the TV I used to have as 2nd display was still 2nd when it was the only display. Thanks, man.
