OK, I work right beside a tanning salon, and anyone who comes from the salon does NOT have tan lines around their eyes from the goggles they wear. How the hell is that possible, or do they just not wear the goggles? I mean, you should get a mark from that strap on the goggles, no?

I'd love to ask one of them when they come in, but considering the average age is 35, I don't want them to think I'm hitting on them :)

So come on guys/gals. I know some of you use the tanning salon, so fess up and post how you get away from nasty tan lines with the goggles...

Hmmm. I always heard that your eyelids won't tan much anyways. So I would always put the goggles right underneath the lower eyelid, while covering more of the upper eyelid. Seemed to work.

have you ever seen tanning goggles? some are just two cups you put over each eye. As for the ones that are connected, the bridge that connects the two eye cups is raised up off the nose so the UV light still reaches underneath.

So you guys/gals think all they do is put them just around the eyelid, and then they don't get tan line marks? Hmm.....Interesting...

I'm off too work, maybe I can find a 20 year old hottie to ask...

I lived in So. Arizona for 9 years. Your lips and eyelids do not tan, they burn, so cover them.
