So next week no sunday nite game either? NFL is certainly the No Fun League this sunday nite. Football shouldn't have to watch out for baseball. Baseball should look out for it's neck when Football is out.

that is ridiculous...

how did they know last year what nights the world series would be played when they drew up the schedule...

there is no way they would know if a team swept its series or if it was drawn out to a full 5 or 7 game series...

unless they are rigged.....hey wait minute....maybe i can borrow some tin foil from one of the resident CT's here...:)

LMAO at MLB. Game 2 of the World Series is on and all anyone cares about is there's no football on tonight.

BTW... Pre-season football > World Series.

pretty sure they have dates set for when the WS starts- even if both teams sweep i think they just get really long breaks before the WS

*EDIT*
Actually the more I think about that I may be wrong...

I seriously doubt they knew earlier this year when the football TV schedules were created...

when is the earliest they would have known when the series started??? when the NLCS and ALCS series were being played? which was about 2 or 3 weeks ago?

They knew months and months ago. The baseball schedules are set in the winter. You can figure out very easily when the playoffs will be played.

The NFL didn't schedule a game tonight because they knew the World Series would be played tonight. That decision was made months ago.

But how do you know they play on this exact date?

They might have a travel day, like tomorrow, which is when Monday Night Football is on.... wait... oh jeez this is getting kind of scary....
