No subtitle with PowerDVD

Anybody have problem displaying subtitle on PowerDVD?? I'm using a vodoo 3 3000 with win2k, and the software won't display the subtitle.

On the Configuration > Information, it always say:


Display Information :
Video Mode : Weave
Display Mode : DirectDraw
FourCC Code : RGB
Surface Type : Off-screen plain (no subtitles)

What's up with the surface type??
