No stinkin AC!!!

This is startin to make me mad. It's stinkin 92 degrees outside and my AC in my apartment is broken! It freezes up after about 2 hours of running so it's just sitting there sucking electricity. The thing looks like it's left over from the stone age. They say they'll get a replacement out here, but with their track record of repairs it'll be two weeks. It is now 85 degrees in my apartment, and I'm sweating just sitting around doing nothing. Maybe I'll go sit in my car and let the AC run.

Yea, 94 was the high. Pollen count in the 3400 range.... Well, it was 3400 last night, only 300 now. Up and down, up and down.

Yup, low freon. They refilled it Sunday, it shut down w/in 5 hours. We have fans going full blast, doesn't do much good though.

Try this.. buy some dry ice at the store.. stick it in a bowl in front of the fan and voila ghetto AC.. if dry ice is too expensive try ice water in front of the fan but it doesn't work nearly as well..

Is this a window unit or a centeral unit?
I think the problem is that the coil unit is full of dirt. If it is a window unit. Pull it inside and have a look especially the one on the back it does not take much to foul these up and the symtoms you are having sounds like this is the prob.
