Today I wanted to record some VHS onto my hard drive. I could hear and watch tv today but when I tried to record from the VHS tape there was no sound. I checked everywhere to see if the sound was muted and it was not. Wave sound is there. I checked to make sure the vcr had sound by hooking it up to a tv and it did. I uninstalled and reinstalled the wintv software still did not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the soundcard (audidgy 2) drivers and still no sound. Ive run virus scan and no viruses. Before I did all this I could hear sound while watching tv. Now after reinstlling the wintv software I have no sound for tv or recording. I do have sound for everthing else. games cd and media player. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Excuse the silly question here, but you have a cable connecting the VCR's white & yellow RCA sound outputs to the 1/8-inch stereo sound input on the PVR-150, right?

I never needed that before. I always just used the coax from the vcr to the card. Just like if it were a tv. I have recorded aobut 30 VHS tapes with just the coax and there was always sound. Now there is not even sound to the regular cable tv to watch live. I ran a virus scan and a spyware scan and nothing. I had a few crashes a few weeks ago because of a bad ram stick but now that is all fixed.

This just happened to me. I installed new drivers for my Audigy 2ZS and now I can get no sound from my PVR-150 using Snapstream....... Did you get this fixed?
