No sound using video conference

My wife is using AIM to conderence with a friend who is using iChat. They can see each other and we can hear her friend but her friend ccant hear us. I have been googling and forum searching to no immdeiate avail. Its a longshot but where do I start. The logitech mic on a nforce2 mobo seems to work perfectly. Is this a mac/pc issue maybe caused by router?
 
I have the same problem. i have a mac and when i try to connect to a pc with AIM i receive only video while the pc user can both see and hear me.

I have opened ports 5060, 5190, 5297, 5298, 5678, 16384-16403, I have turned off the firewall. Would this be a problem on the PC end or the Mac end?

have you been able to solve this problem?
