was watching a dvd using power dvd, pressed mute and then once i turned mute off the sound was very faint. restarted the pc but still the sound was real faint at the highest volume.uninstalled and reinstalled power dvd..no help..chked playing mp3 in winamp..very faint volume!!
uninstalled and reinstalled nforce 5.10 forceware drivers and sound came back but now only my left speaker works. right one has no sound. connected my speakers to my laptop and also to my iriver. both speakers work perfectly..
i have an ALTEC lansing 2.1 spkr (model ATP-3)
please help asap
