I have a AMD K7 700 MHz, with 400 RAM (100 MHz clock), 7200 rpm Hdd Maxtor, I have a Asus Gforce 2 with 32 Mb, but I use a firewire board to capture. I tried to capture many picture formats and compressions, and I get interruptions on sound even with the smallest picture. It's actually no difference noo matter the format. The only software that works with sound is Ulead Video studio. Software like Virtual Dub used to work only with picture capture, and now it just crashes so I can't use it. Premiere has very few options for picture format and it does get interruptions as well. I tried also windows both 2000 and XP. What can I do to fix this ? I don't have a synchronizer so I don't know if I could resync afterwords. Please help.
