No Sound on my computer

I recently moved my computer and my sound stopped working. I have no idea why. My drivers are up to date and everything is plugged in right. My audio card is the ASUS Xonar DGX. Any suggestions to bring my sound back would be awesome

Is it still showing up under device manager? Did you try 'reseating' it since it stopped working after moving it? It could have moved slightly out of the slot.

Remove it from the computer, inspect it to make sure everything looks good on it (no dark spots on its pins, etc), and put it back in to see if that is the issue.

its still under device manager and when i go to the volume control at the bottom left of my screen it shows up there too (Rn the volume is at 50 but doesn't play any sound). It would almost seem as though the sound card or computer isn't recognizing that i have speakers plugged into them.

I would go through all the sound options and make sure that's all correct. Also, do you have onboard audio? Try that and see what happens.

The onboard "works." I put works in quotes because they were (and still are) having an odd issue thats incredibly annoying. Not only is the audio completely unbalanced to the left ear (making the right ear almost mute) but there is also a weird buzzing every time i move my mouse. I never really figured out the reason for this issue because i simply decided to get a sound card to circumvent this issue. That worked for a great while until just today when i decided to move my computer.

Also, all of my settings seem to be normal. That is what they were before i moved my computer but i could be missing something. Honestly though it would seem that the sound card or the computer are simply not realizing that something is plugged into the audio jack. I have no idea why this would be but hopefully someone does
