No Sound on DVD

Hi, I am having trouble getting sound to work when I play dvd's. I've tried different software to no luck. I believe i have updated all possible drivers, too.

Any advice?

Running XP
Epox 8k7a
SoundBlaster Live! Value
Ati Radeon 32MB DDR LE

Do you have any sound at all? Stupid question here, did you attach a cable to you sound card from the DVD? I ask it as I did the same thing with my CD-RW, couldn't figure out why it wasn't playing tunes--duhhhh--I hadn't attached the cable between it and my sb!
