No sound in TFC

Figured I would install steam again so I downloaded TFC first cause its a classic. For some reason there is no sound in the menu or in the game unless I just into the water. 😕

I tried Death Match Classic and the sound worked fine in that game and I have no problems with sound in anything else.

My sound card is a Sblive Platinum
 
1. Get the latest drivers for Live
2. Could be Direct X related. Maybe run dxdiag to see if all test sounds are there..
