Check to see if Power is on to speaker and pluged in

Could have the speakers pluged into the wrong spot.

You could also try to add hardware and when it come to the sreen Is the hardware connected? Select yes and then select SiS 7012 Audio Driver. I know I did that to get Audio on mine I have the same Motherboard.

Although I'm no Computer Tech

Also, you should go into sound and game controlllers in the control panel and under the audio tab, make sure your onboard is the preferred audio device

Make sure you use the correct driver. Look on the motherboard at the sound processor and get the number off of it. The number should correlate to the drivers listed on sis's website.

There isnt any reason to manually tell it to install a driver..just remove the item you accidentally installed, download the correct driver from your motherboard maker, reboot, then it should autodetect it and you can direct it to the driver you just downloaded

when i go to add new hardware, window is unable to find any new hardware. when i try to uninstall the old driver. window ask me to reboot but after entering window, new hardware was found and window automatically install the old driver.
also, when i go to device manager, under "sound, video and game controller", there are a few items there which i do not know which to uninstall.

if you have the right driver, go into dev manager, select the wrong sound card, and choose to update driver. Then point it to the correct driver you downloaded. And be sure to make sure its selected in the audio tab under sound and game controlers in control panel.
