No sound from A7V266E

I have a A7V266e with a T-bird 1.4 gig, 512mb ram, Win XP pro, etc. It runs fine but I can't get the onboard sound to work. It is enabled in the bios, drivers loaded, device manager says it is working. Tried the speakers on another machine and they work. Troubleshooting gave me no answer. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't remember there being any jumpers on the board for it, bios only. I've never actually tried my onboard sound, seems simple enough though.

After looking through the manual for that board, the only jumper that has to do with sound is the BCS (Bass Center selector). Might have to monkey around with that for a bit to see if anything happens..Good luck

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I don't know if it was the jumpers that Gonzo suggested, the Win XP drivers, or plugging in the correct speaker cable that did it😱.
