sup guys...i have an old pc with xp pro and onboard sound....when i go to play one of the sample music files from xp...it tells me windows media player cannot play this file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound installed.

I know it's installed because it's onboard, and in device manager everything has a driver associated with it, under the sound controllers tab i have Audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers, Legacy Video Capture devices,Media Control Devices, Video Codecs all with a speaker icon next to them.

Nothing in device manager is asking for a driver so i have no clue. Any ideas? Thanks.
