No signal to monitor

P5W DH Deluxe Mobo
BFG 7900GT GPU
Seagate Barracuda SATA HD
Mushkin XP2 PC2-6400 2G (2x1 gb) 4-4-3-10 ram
Samsung 931 BF LCD TFT
BENQ DVD Writer
Mitsumi Floppy Drive

All cables connected to their proper connectors, and double checked. Upon boot, all fans are running (cpu, gpu, 2 chasis). Power light on mobo is on, LED on front of case is on.

The monitor cycles through checking digital and analog connections (my assumption is the connection i have is digital), then tells me to check signal cable, with analog at the bottom of the box.

I don't want to jump to crazy conclusions, but is my gpu not sending a signal (ie, screwed?)

thanks in advance

Make sure you haven't bent any of the pins on your DVI cable.

I had the exact same problem once and it was due to a bent pin. Once straightened, it worked fine.
