No signal to Monitor

i'm building a computer with a Intel 875pbz motherboard and a Radeon 97000 video card. i have double checked everthing including re-installing the memory. i am getting no reponse from my monitor. The monitor works fine on my other computer. i can't hear the beep codes because the 875 has no onboard audio. All the fans are working . i am trying to find if maybe the video card is bad or the Motherboard. i am wondering if the CMOS battery is defective. Everything is new, right out of the box.

I had the same problem recently. It turned out the the BIOS set the default FSB too high and the vid card couldn't handle it. I set the correct FSB and everything worked perfectly.
