You are getting the ATI HDTV Wonder?

I got one from Santa and its a bit iffy. I had to uninstall and reinstall a couple of times before it worked how I wanted it. Even now I cant my local PBS station. Eveything else works though. Ill see if i can get some screen captures of whats on.

THE DTV WILL NOT INITIALIZE.

IT SAYS I DON:T HAVE DIRECTX9 AND THAT THE INF DRIVER ISN:T INSTALLED. THEY ARE BOTH INSTALLED:|

Yeah, download the Windows Media Encoder

There's a preset in it to broadcast HD signals.

Of course. That's not the problem . iwas under the impression that these saved as .ts streams which are almsot impossible to convert. It looks liek the ATI software might convert it to mpeg2 or wahtever on the fly so that would be great



now if I can jsut gett the damn thing to work I'll be happy:|

You can stream live captures direct from your ati card (no intermediate file) with WME. Just set it as your source. I do it with mine so I can watch the news @ work over the net.
